EXAMPLES OF RBO-WORK
FOR RADIO & ON INTERNET

In order to network with local radio stations on the continent, RADIO BRIDGE OVERSEAS’ audio-programs are also produced in several African languages. Eight episodes of the RBO-series MAKING IT WORK, a radio program about experiences with appropriate technologies, were researched in Ethiopia, Kenya, Botswana and Zimbabwe and broadcast in these countries. Offering pictures and Weblinks, they are now also accessible on the Internet where versions in English, Kiswahili and Shona can be retrieved. Click on the picture below to acces them.

24 episodes of a radio-series about "Rural
based Management of Natural Resources" in
Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe
were simultaneously on air in these countries in Setswana, English, Bemba and Shona.
The story of how RADIO BRIDGE OVERSEAS executed this task, including follow-up missions for evaluation at original places of recording, can be experienced as a multimedia
project under the title LIVING IDEAS also on

World Population Conference of
the United Nations in Cairo the
GLOBAL AWARD FOR MEDIA EXCELLENCE
for three radio programs about family planning in Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe.
