The Diver and his children along the coast of Belize, the Fisherman and his family in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam, the Dhow Captain and his brothers crossing the waters of Eastern Africa - all of them speak different languages, their lives follow different cultural patterns, rarely exposed to each other, but all of them may have access to one common tool of communication - to a radio. This radio is the poor man's window to the world. In 1998, " On Air About Water" opened this window to provide a bridge between cultures which depend on joint actions for the protection of the oceans as a source of life. Oceans feed life through rain, falling down on continents. Rain feeds rivers and lakes, wells and dams, waste water flows back into the oceans. How are people around the world treating this precious source of life? Radio Bridge Overseas co-ordinated and disseminated radio programs which were produced on the subject of "WATER" in various parts of the globe to be distributed, via Internet and in several language versions, to community broadcasters in all corners of the world who were willing to facilitate interaction on behalf of their local listeners by downloading these programs for broadcast to their audiences.
