Kilimanjaro, the
highest mountain peak in Africa and to many a
source of pride and identity, is in the middle of
a heated argument over its melting ice cap.
In an attempt to stop villagers from leaving the
mountain and to keep the tourists coming to visit
its peak, the Tanzanian government has launched a
campaign to refute the scientific findings.
